Evelyn Hoveland, daughter of Richard and Mrs Hoveland, gets set to wed Nels Peterson of Fairmont. Fisher, Pease, Richard, and Schonberger fished in Canada.
Holbrook of Ames spoke at a DM Town Thursday evening program featuring Louise Neal violin solos and a girls glee club. It awarded scholastic and citizenship medals to Henrietta Kauffman Charles Roberts and others, with diplomas presented by Wim Fisher and a benediction by Rev Wangberg. A seventh grade picnic followed in Emmetsburg.
