The M B church missionary societies met at Mrs. T D Jones home on Friday afternoon. The program featured a one act play Christina Columbus Discovers America directed by Mrs. Leonard Smith with roles by Mrs. T S Bassett Mrs. Alta Hewlett Miss Lucile Wheeler Mrs. John C. Gunderson and Mrs. Lewis Paulson. Rev T S Bassett spoke on medical work in foreign missions while Mrs. Jones and Mrs. C P Lathrop served refreshments.

Des Moines Y M C A Camp Offers Summer Program for Rolfe Boys
The Des Moines Y M C A announces a ten day summer camp program for Rolfe area boys from June 15 to September 4, its fifteenth season. The camp covers 250 acres along the Des Moines river near Boone with facilities including an $18,000 swimming pool, modern bath house, cabins, crafts shops, and recreational venues. A 16 member college trained staff will oversee athletics, swimming, crafts, and nature study, aiming to build character and provide a memorable outdoor experience. For information contact Glenn S.
