The bride is longtime West Bend resident formerly with The Democrat Pocahontas. the groom has worked in Pocahontas county newspapers and is shown as field manager for Ward Medical Co Winona Minnesota. They plan residence in Pocahontas.

The D M T Farm Union local met at the D M T school on May 12. A program led by chair Jennie Johnson featured songs memories of mother My Kitty and Mother a mountain songs performance by several local members. About ninety people enjoyed lunch prepared by local women. The next meeting is set for June 9 at the school.
