Laurens Happenings Highlight Local Events and Moves
A busy slate of community events includes a March Twilight Theatre dance by the American Legion Cope’s Harmony Imps of Fort Dodge, an Easter cantata at M. I. church directed by Mrs F L Johnson with violin solo by Harry Namien, and a large high school entertainment at the school auditorium. Neighbors like Mr and Mrs Chet Cole Andrew Smith Walter Knight and others are noted visiting moving hosting and hosting again. The Farmers Shipping Association shipped three carloads of hogs to Chicago led by Ed Meredith. George and Ollie Watters tie the knot with family and friends witnessing a community-filled week.
