Opportunity to Learn Horse Hitches for Large Teams
Farmers can learn from the County Agent or Farm Bureau about proper horse hitches. A five horse hitch places three ahead and two behind with space between the rear pair, reducing side draft and allowing nearer side fences. The same setup can adapt to six horses, and a sick horse can be removed with a simple adjustment. Distinct hitches exist for larger numbers of horses.
