Board of Supervisors of Pocahontas County Iowa met in regular session with Henry Oaken J M Bush Gilbert Ellis P J Harrold present Absent F A Clark. Appointed Gilbert Ellis chairman pro tem. Approved third quarter reports for County Auditor Sheriff Farm Steward. Appointed Oscar Shank Justice of Peace Swan Lake Township and W S Chase Constable with bond 500 each. Authorized tax list mileage for railroad telegraph and other services with detailed mileages and costs across multiple lines and towns. Audited and allowed numerous county expenses including jail, prisoner's care, supplies, and tax withholdings.
