Rams Basketball Team Feted After Des Moines Trip
The Rams basketball squad and their coaches Dick Barrett and Jerry Miller with wives were hosted by Mr and Mrs Garth Sroufe and Mr and Mrs Bill Spencer after a game in Des Moines. The visit included a buffet lunch, social time, and card games, following travel from San Juan via a flight landed in Des Moines on February 24.

Johnsons mark 50th wedding anniversary and 75th birthday
George Johnson and Hannah Bangert celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 3 and the couple marked George Johnsons 75th birthday with a March 1 family gathering at their Rolfe home. Attendees included numerous relatives from Rockford Des Moines Cedar Rapids Pomeroy and Braden.
