Central States Electric Sought Franchise in Pocahontas County

Pocahontas County Iowa board of supervisors met February 15 1938 in regular session at the courthouse. Present were E A Rude chairman C F Young and Clarence Jensen with no absentees. Actions included tax compromise approval for J F McCreary extension of Henry Earnhardt school loan approved designation of county farm and insurance chairmen and a drainage district 28 re levy hearing adjourned until March 1 1938 after objections were filed. County fund claims were audited and allowed.
