Forty years ago Misses Helen and Maxine Colebaugh attended the Epworth League Convention at Fort Dodge Wednesday of last week. Roberta Lighter returned from Gilmore with her sister Mrs Shrader to help with the care of her nephew and strawberries. The Girls Club chaperoned by Alma Olerich had a picnic at Silver Lake Friday. Mrs Jens Lund and Misses Florence and Katinka Lanning of Thor visited the L W Larson home Tuesday. Mr and Mrs W C Struthers are building a modern 28 by 32 home on their Des Moines township farm. Cemetery improvements include new roadways and gravel. Mrs Leonard Smith will assist in the Fair Store in Miss Cora Lighter's absence. Orville Dobbs, now a traveling salesman for a shoemanufacturer, visited Rolfe Monday. Albert Howland is preaching.
