Amvets Auxiliary held a June 7 meeting to finalize plans for the district gathering at the Presbyterian church in Rolfe on June 14. Entertainment featured songs and piano numbers by Janis Sue and Jimmy Wilson and a Side Show sponsored by Mrs Will Howland Mrs Muriel Wilson and Mrs Ralph Philp. The charter was draped in memory of sister member Mrs Casper Grant with Mrs Emmett Stallcup and Mrs Muriel Wilson taking part with Mrs Bessie Boyce at the piano. Hostesses were Mrs George Marine and Mrs Elmer Sanding. The next meeting is July 5.
