Ten of twenty one alumni met at Mrs. Nellie Brinkman’s home for luncheon on Sunday June 6. Teachers Miss Edna Marcum and Miss Dora Barker attended as special guests. The Rolfe community notes personal travels and a wedding, and announces a new bandstand dedication at the June 16 concert.

Twenty years ago J H Brinkman traveled to Des Moines to join the Iowa Bar association. Lieut Donald and Mrs Davidson left for Las Vegas to report back to Lieut Theron Greeber. Greeber, son of Mr and Mrs A V Graeber, arrived en route from Sacramento to Columbia for training. Mrs Ralph Rickard welcomed a girl Judith Lorraine born June 2. Bes sie Witt N N cared for mother and baby. Helen Ann and Marna Woods visited Murray to stay with grandparents Carl and Mrs Woods. Trinity Lutheran Aid Society held its annual birthday party at Rev J O Wangbergs home May 24. Mrs E J Struthers celebrated birthday with neighbors May 31.

Leonard Lanus Gene and LaVon Marchant join the Register Carrier day trip from Humboldt to Des Moines. Rolfe names a queen candidate for the Clay county fair with Miss LaMae White selected as Rolfe’s entry. Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Pringle depart for Canada then plan to attend the New York fair on the way home.
