Nellie Shriner celebrated a birthday at a Friday party with cake and ice cream, receiving a corsage. Spring house cleaning was completed with help from Henretta Allen, Darlene Burns, and the administrator. Out of town visitors from multiple towns were listed.

DO ES Chapter 79 OES holds regular meeting June 8 at 8:00 p.m with 6:30 supper. Martha and past Marthas to be honored. Rebekah Lodge meets June 3 at 8:00 p.m. Region flat. American Legion Rolfe meets June 8 at 8:00 p.m. in Legion Hall. The Jabbatiere Club held May 25 dessert lunch and Bridge. guest Julie Van Houten. Kaiser family weekend gathering at Paul Kaiser home West Union with 29 members. picnic and activities at Plegg's Park. Charles Gunderson birthday party May 27 hosted by Gloria Gunderson and Barb Teawalt. guests listed.
Mr and Mrs Mark Cummings of Adel announce the birth of their daughter Corrie Hope on May 21 1976. She weighed seven pounds one ounce and has a sister Cassandra Faith. Grandparents are Mr and Mrs Gerd Post of Pocahontas.
Hodoway group members plus four guests attend. Sub groups meet at homes of Esther Pierce and Gust Henning son with hostesses assisting. Devotions led by Leveckins Alma Ogden Chester Hansen and Verdie Nelson. Fourteen members attend across groups with Lawrence Nelson lesson leader. Mrs Bill Shimon graduates from Iowa State University in Home Economics Education and to teach in Mallard. picnic at Ames with Gundersons and Shimon family. Shimons reside in Rolfe.
