40th Anniversary Observed for Mr. and Mrs. Higgins
Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Higgins marked 40 years with an Open House in the Methodist Church parlors on Sunday afternoon July 20. About 228 relatives and friends attended, with grandchildren greeting guests and assisting hosts. St Pauls Lutheran Women held four circle meetings on Wednesday July 23. Martha Circle met at 2 pm at Mrs Henry Baader home with ten members. Esther Circle gathered at the church in the evening with six members. Lydia Circle met at Mrs Clifford Jones home in the afternoon with twelve members. Elizabeth Circle met at Mrs Charles Anderson home in the afternoon with nine members.
