Miss Clara Mable Bennett died Monday July 27 1931 at the home of her sister Mrs Lee Fisher after a long illness. Born April 20 1890 in Richland Iowa she taught in Richland and Mora Minnesota. She leaves two sisters three brothers and many friends. Her funeral was held at 3 PM at the Fisher home and her body shipped to Mora Minnesota for interment.
J W Schar director of the Rolfe Municipal Band invites all instrumental players of any age to attend weekly Thursday rehearsals at the Rolfe school building and Friday evening concerts. Bring a low pitched instrument and a willingness to participate.

They note good crops oats flax and corn, plentiful wild berries and a desire for a swimming pool and park at home. Local roads tarvia and sand surface praised. neighbors and The Arrow office helped maintain The Plover Patriot.
Aid Society announces its annual election of officers will be held next Thursday. All members are urged to attend. Serving committee includes Mrs. G. S. Shaw, Mrs. T. P. Comer, Mrs. R. E. Houck, Mrs. W. R. Her, Mrs. R. E. DuBoice, and Mrs. H. Q. Beneke. Visitors are invited and welcome.
