Warren County Bootlegger Faces Multiple Charges
Officers charged Lester with sale transport and liquor nuisance with conspiracy alleged to involve his retail salesmen. Hipsley was arrested for selling alcohol, while Hronek acted solo and lured Lester with a blind side. Neighbors noted increased traffic and a haul of ninety gallons hidden on the Collins ranch near Squaw Creek. Residents question why Warren County did not keep bootlegger at home as state investigators praised local help but doubted a local man could have caught him.
