Mr and Mrs Arlo Ives announce the birth of a son on Monday June 26 at eight pounds in their home, named Dallag George. Mrs Georga Klobe arrived from Capolidg last Friday to visit at the J T Grant home. Mrs Robe remembered as Mrs John Engel, ex-Rolfe resident. Mrs C B Spiker enjoyed a vacation from Hikenberry grocery last week. Earl F MacVey and sons Curtis and Paul of Britt visited Rolfe Tuesday evening, escorted home by his mother and sister Iva Brown. Pvt Herschel Chapman arrived from Laramie Wyoming where he has been a student at the state university.

Giant gooseberries draw crowd at the Arrow office
C F Hurley showed giant gooseberries to visitors at the Arrow office on Saturday noting their size rivaling a pigeon egg. Mr and Mrs C H Ralston of Hillsboro were in town visiting friends while headed to Minnesota to see their daughter. Ralston previously served as cashier of the local First National Bank from 1901 to 1904.

Missouri tour continues for Miller family with toy attraction
Mr and Mrs George Miller and daughter Anita tour Missouri with a mechanical toy attraction this summer. They have previously worked the fair circuit and report plenty of strawberries of excellent size. John Jordan Wordan, claiming to be 106 this fall, remains alert and capable. Excessive moisture leaves weeds tall across fields.

Boats Must Display Red Registration Decal By Deadline
