Signalman George Wilson recalls Pacific air disaster near San Francisco
Mr and Mrs W L Wilson received a letter from their son George describing a vivid crash he witnessed as signalman aboard the US 8 8 Pennsylvania. Two planes collided over his ship in the Pacific near San Francisco. Only three of the 14 men aboard survived. George is in the navy.
