A town circle meeting of the W S C S was held at the Methodist church with good attendance. The Legion Auxiliary plans an all day meeting on Monday February 1 at Mrs Lilly Gibson’s home. Basketball teams won two Hum-Po conference games at Plover with DeVaul and Stowell leading. The girls defeated Plover 66 52 led by Jo Elyn Whitman. Also noted are illness recoveries and upcoming talks by Dr E Earl Burgess at Havelock and Ware churches.
