Hay fever and other allergic diseases are studied year round by doctors at the State University of Iowa College of Medicine. Under Dr. Paul M. Seebohm, the allergy clinic aims to desensitize patients, help those with severe attacks, and advance research to understand allergies. Diagnoses rely on medical history, exams, and skin injections of known allergens such as ragweed, dust, mold, animal hair, eggs, wheat, and peanuts.
