ANKER Bankers Organize Iowa Independent Bankers
Rolfe State Bank President Robert D. Dixon leads efforts after election to the IBAA executive council for a three year term. He helped form the Iowa Independent Bankers, a dues paying state group. The move aims to curb multibank holding companies and liberalize branch banking rules. Dixon, in Rolfe since 1951, became president in 1958 and has long served the community.
