Explaining Corn Ceiling Prices by Des Moines OPA Official
Walter D. Kline, director of the Des Moines OPA District, explains that corn ceilings are based on No. 2 yellow shelled corn with moisture not exceeding 15.2 percent. He says full price details are being sent to War Price and Rationing Boards across 64 Iowa counties. The public is urged to inquire at local board offices for guidance at shipping points.
