Local visits and New Year gatherings spread across towns
Bruce Higgins of Seattle visited his brother Dick Higgins from December 27 to January 6 and joined Max R. Higgins in La Grange Tennessee. The Pat Cox and Stan Lowe families celebrated New Year’s Day in Lloyd Cox’s home. Several families hosted or visited across Fort Dodge Roslyn Laurens Ringsted Carroll Mallard Gilmore City Gilroy and Spirit Lake with birthdays and celebrations noted. Travel included Carl Hansen’s Christmas guests departing for England and California trips by the Osens and Sharpes.
