One-House Legislation and Beer Tax Debate Recount
A past discussion explains how beer and old age assistance bills were passed via informal one-house understandings and lack of cross-chamber checks. It notes the danger of unreviewed laws, cites bank check fees new year, and quotes Ed M. Smith calling last campaign sales tax debate asinine. The piece ends with a blunt line on politics and marriage rhetoric.
