In a remote Pacific settlement, white leader Alan Croft and his wife Barbara face siege as native warriors attack with bows and arrows while two French adventurers aid. The Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors met February 17 1925 in regular session at the Courthouse Pocahontas Iowa. They appointed Peter Johnson constable for Clinton township approved bonds James Hallinan hired at county home and farm and salary fixed at 65 dollars per month and approved extensions of school fund loans. They considered Drainage District No 122 with engineer J L Parsons report and fees and set construction deadlines April 1 to June 1 1925. Claims against county funds were examined and allowed including the county treasurer and various departments and contractors.
