The Iowa Elks sponsor a boys basketball free throw contest for grades 5 through 8. Rolfe's representatives for the sectional at Storm Lake on Saturday February 26 include Dennis Gilbertson Chuck Bennett Steve Moline in Division I. Bob Bennett Jeff Kerns Eric Vaughn in Division II. Russell Johnson Mark Gilbertson Mike Shimon in Division III. Glen Kuchenreuther Jeff Spencer Russell Johnson in Division IV. Two winners per division advance to District on March 4 to determine two per division for State at halftime of the Iowa Michigan game.
