A Philadelphia advertising man told a sales forum that newspaper ads drive strong retail results when the product is newsworthy and priced right. He cited a client who gained millions in sales over three months with under $100,000 in ad spend, stressing print’s payoff despite newer media.

A church wedding for Homer Gentry and Marlene Meyer is announced for February 24 at Rockwell City Lutheran.
Second graders review number combinations up to seven and craft valentine decorations while painting boxes. A Valentine party hosted 13 guests, with class members inviting siblings or friends. Perfect spelling scores noted. Gerry Logan and Miss Stief celebrated birthdays with treats. Third grade health lessons cover staying well and reading about citrus fruits. Fourth through eighth grade classes share weekly updates.
