Cecil Jones of Gilmore City faced Mayor Bertha VanAlstine for a bootleg incident. He received a $100 fine plus costs and was released on good behavior. State inspector P G Anderson warned Pocahontas County about unlicensed trucks and trailers and licensing by plates.
