Plover Legion Card Party Attracts Full House
The Plover Legion hall hosted a busy card party with results in 500 high going to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Minkler, 500 low to O. G. Horsman and Mrs. W. F. Hofer, travel prize to Mrs. Donald Wilson, and canasta and bridge leaders named. Auxiliary members served lunch and hosted the house event.

Wildlife packets still available in dwindling supply
Sportsmen and farmers may still place orders for wildlife plant packets with the state nursery, but supplies are dwindling. Conservation Commission game managers said today that only about 165 packets remain for each of three types, including one type for western Iowa and one for northern regions.
