Wilcox's Hampshire bred sons sale at Rolfe drew a crowded tent despite bad roads with buyers from distance. BH C. Stone of Peoria bought several hogs for others and shipped some to Florida Georgia and Alabama. The sale topped at 145 dollars for a fall gilt while fifty nine head averaged 61.83 dollars.
