Judge Rules Lands Stay in Pocahontas School District
In Pocahontas last week Judge Geo A Heald denied Banksers Life Co Poduska and Debeck bids to remove lands from the Independent School District. County Superintendent Mrs J H McMichael argued the law forbade removal and won. Tax conditions in the district are harsh, but bonds remain secured by those lands.
