Laurie Brinkman daughter of Mr and Mrs Phil Brinkman Rolfe will marry Alan Jensen son of Mr and Mrs Dale Jensen Lowden Town. The 7 p m March 20 ceremony at United Presbyterian Church Rolfe will be followed by a reception. Laurie works as a physical education therapist at Beloit of Town and Al is a youth counselor for Iowa Children and Family Services in Des Moines.
Alyssa Lynn Cox, daughter of Dennis Cox and Kay Lynn Taylor Cox of Humboldt, born January 27 1976 weighing seven pounds 13 ounces with brother Aaron turning five in March. Grandparents are George Cox of Fort Dodge and W G Taylor of Rolfe, with great grandmothers Mamie Caryl of Rolfe and Lydia Stringer of Fort Dodge. Chadwick Dale Richardson, son of Tony Richardson and Su an Howland Richardson of Omaha, born January 30 1976 weighing seven pounds 15.5 ounces. Grandparents are Ray Winters of Sterling Kansas and Roger Howland of Rolfe, with Floyd Page of Lehigh and Hazel Howland of Rolfe as additional grandparents.
The American Legion Auxiliary meets February 9 at 2 pm at Mrs. Bessie Roberts home with hostesses. Chapter 79 OES gathers February 10 at 7:30 pm preceded by 6 pm supper. Rebekah Lodge meets February 5 at 7:30 pm at the Legion Hall. Mario Alan Point, born February 1, 1976, to Mr. and Mrs. Alan Point of Rolfe, weighs seven pounds 14 ounces. Grandparents and great-grandparents listed. The Rolfe American Legion plans a February 10 meeting at 8 pm at the Legion Hall.
Sunset Hill Manor held Sunday services led by Rev. Johnson with Mrs. Jake Rutgers at the piano. Residents watched Bear Country on Thursday and attended an in service meeting Wednesday. Jack Slawson Fort Dodge Social Service Director presented Mental Disorders and Bladder and Bowel Training films. Out of town visitors listed include Dorothy Graylund Curlew Helen Schoon Richard Wessels Jackie Palmer George Schuur Doris Minkler and more from Pocahontas Emmetsburg Plover Ruthven and Reinhold Anderson.
The BBTTT chapter held a January 26 hosted party at Sam and Geraldine Nicosons with a supper and four tables of 500. On February 2 ten members met at Dee Wilsons where Mel Duitscher presided and officers were installed.

Mary Ann Henderson and Samuel Michael Beatty announce their engagement. Mary Ann, daughter of Donald and (late) Henderson of Independence, is a University of Iowa senior in Education. Samuel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Beatty of Waterloo, is a UI senior in Business Administration majoring in Insurance.
