Ten years ago Janet Shelgren daughter of Mr and Mrs Ed Shelgren was listed as teaching in Germany and on a two week tour of the Holy Land and a Nile River cruise. Forty years ago on Thursday December 31 1931 Mads Johansen and David Henderson drove to Somers to bring Mrs Einar Esperson and her children for an over Christmas visit at the Johansen home. Sixty three members of the D Brinkman family held a Christmas Day basket dinner at the A A Brinkman home followed by social time. Mrs Clifford Slayton of Pocahontas with Ruby Wilson Maxine Colebaugh Marie Haringer and Beatrice Munson traveled to Bradgete to visit the former classmate Mrs Chas Jarvis Rowena Class of 1926.
