Beckord Elected Rolfe Chamber President for 1978
Rolfe Chamber of Commerce elected Syd Beckord as president for 1978 at its December 19 meeting. New officers include Mark Frank as vice president Ann Hughes secretary treasurer and new board members Russell Ives and Ed Gleim. carryover board members Charlotte Rickard Earla Howland and Herman Claussen remain.

Rolfe Chamber Sponsors Coffee at Legion Hall
The Rolfe Chamber of Commerce hosts daily coffee and goodies at the Legion Hall from 9 11 a.m. and 2 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday with a free will offering for the coffee. The chamber meets January 3 in the Library basement for a noon luncheon and business session. Holiday closings note New Year observances with many Rolfe businesses closed January 2 and early closures on New Year’s Eve.
