Misses Helen Lothen and Aman da Sorenson returned to Victory Wisconsin to spend Christmas with family. Clarence and Miss Ella Gunstead visited from Waterloo Iowa for the holidays at the A Simonson home. Choir rehearsal at C Otto home drew a large crowd while Sunday school at Pikertown schoolhouse faced cold weather and low attendance. Shadow Social at L B Buster home raised about 41 dollars for the school, with thanks to the Boster family for hosting. Niles MacVey represented Pikertown at a spelling contest in Pocahontas, earning credit though not a prize. Mrs J D Wallace will sell at the Srouse sale on December 29 a brown driving mare nine years old, weight 1200, plus harness and other equipment.

Son Snatched From Death In Frog Trap On Railroad Tracks
Frederick Stewart a four year old boy in Homestead Pennsylvania stepped onto a frog on the railroad tracks and was caught as a long freight train passed. Each car pressed down on his foot causing agony as his mother Mrs Clarence E Stewart tried to free him. She saved his life but collapsed.
