Passion Play attendance and local notices from Storm Lake
Nine members of the United Presbyterian Youth attended the Passion Play in Storm Lake on November 30 with eight more in attendance at the later performances. Rosemary Pease was honored with a surprise birthday supper on December 13, marking her sixth birthday. A group from Ottosen and surrounding families celebrated the 30th wedding anniversary of August Nielsen and wife with a potluck at the David Henderson home. Betty Alden Chapter D A R met December 8 with 21 members and guests. Regent Helery Eike led a Christmas program and a gift exchange followed by carol paintings and discussion.

P A E Club Christmas Luncheon Weaves Gifts And Carols
The P A E Club held a special one o clock luncheon and Christmas party at Johnnies Steak House in Humboldt with Mrs John Pierce and Mrs Paul Brewster among the guests. A gift exchange and carols followed a turkey dinner read poems by Mrs Wiegert and closed with social time. The next meeting is set for January 13 at Mrs Florence Berekes home.
