Pocahontas County Board Adopts Drainage Decisions 1923
The Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with members Melson Elsen Linnan Jarvill present and approved contracts for Drainage District 117 work. They authorized the chair and auditor to finalize bids from National Sewer Pipe Co and Anton Heeren, named construction engineer J L Parsons and commissioners to assess costs. A dissolution of contract in Drainage District 58 was approved after notice to Herman Larsen, with pending suit to recover damages. The board also adjusted tax assessments for New 64 and corrected Gilmore Portland Cement Co taxes for 1922, and granted several refunds for erroneous assessments. Adjourned to Nov 20 1923.
