Community clubs schedule December meetings and events
Senior Citizens meet December 13 at 2 PM in the Legion Hall with lunch served. Horizon's Group led by Rob Dixon meets December 16 at 8 PM in the Library. Senior Citizens hold a December 15 potluck at 6 PM with bingo and turkey provided. American Home Study Club hosts a December 19 12 PM potluck in the Library basement. Tuesday Club gathers December 16 at 1 30 PM at Mrs. Sam Nicoson’s home with blind auction items. Justamere Club met December 1 at the Kaiser home with bridge and prize awards for high and low scores.

A Thanksgiving gathering at the Legion Hall Friday included LeRoy Cobb and family of Rochester with twin sons Raymond and Ronald, J and Mrs Gene Fisher, Marvin Origer's family, Joe Tiernan kin from Pocahontas and Rolfe, and many others from iSt. Joe Fonda and nearby communities. Loren Tiernan and girls could not attend, visiting Rolfe later. The A L D Club met in DeWolf home with plans to honor Florence Cook and support Bicentennial efforts.

Christmas Bazaar At Sunset Hill Manor Draws 141 Guests
Sunset Hill Manor residents hosted a December 7 worship service led by Bill Kolbe with the school choir, Therese Majorowicz on piano, Alyce Hovey on flute, and assistants Janelle Sennett and Cheryl Majorowicz. A sing along followed with Mrs Edwin Grove and Mrs R D Dixon. The Bazaar awarded a door prize to Mrs Vernon Claus sen of Gilmore City and an Afghan to Mrs R B Ranney. Bennett a 1973 Rolfe Community School graduate and nurses aide. Stowell a 1973 Havelock Plover Community School graduate who runs his own business.
