N B C met with potluck, gift exchange and bridge. Irwen Reckard won high, Frank Strathman low. A birthday surprise for Miss Rachael Nelson featured potluck lunch and a gift. E C Heard and wife visited their son Harold in Emmetsburg. birthday cake served. Harold helps with local young folks Christmas program prep for the Sunday before Christmas.

Readings of tenth grade English themes were shared at PEO So rosis and Woman's clubs with Robert Obrecht Jean Mather and Evelyn Hewlett among presenters. Activities included a school party and lessons in astronomy plus a kindergarten baking project and a Christmas spirit uptick across grades with decorations, a toy shop project and a pep meeting for a Humboldt game.
