Golden Wedding Honors Mr and Mrs George Arnold
The Plover Methodist Church hosted a 59th anniversary celebration for Mr and Mrs George Arnold on Sunday. Attendees included relatives from Ames Mallard Havelock Laurens Fort Dodge and Des Moines with extended family from Cedar Rapids Wichita Kansas and Alexandria Virginia. Narrator Fay Pirie and singer David Arnold joined Rev Maurice Frevert for benediction as guests enjoyed coffee and punch.

The W S C S Circles of the United Methodist Church met on Wednesday November 20 with four circles sharing topics. Naomi Circle hosted by Mrs N A Wilson included the lesson and Special by Mrs Lawrence Hender. eight members attended. Esther Circle met at Mrs Bessie Roberts with nine members and one visitor. Ruth Circle met at Mrs Franklin Majorowicz with twelve members and one guest. Mary Circle met at the church in the evening with seven members and one guest.
