The Pocahontas County Supervisors authorize issuing ten drainage bonds totaling 5000.00 to fund district improvements. Bonds run 1919 to 1928 with 6 percent interest, payable semiannually, with bonds managed by Geo M Bechtel & Company Davenport Iowa.
Bond from Pocahontas County Iowa for Drainage District No 57 67 issued November 1 1915. Principal 500 dollars with 6 percent interest payable semiannually. Bonds payable from special assessments and pledged to collect installments from benefitted lands. Signatures of Chairman and County Auditor with county seal. Coupons attached specify monthly interest and redemption terms.
