The D.M.T. school back to routine with basketball scores and music notes. Junior High boys lost to Ware by two points while girls fell to Palmer 72 56 led by Palmer's Booge with 43 and Imhoff of D.M.T. 27. D.M.T. boys beat Palmer 64 47 in a conference opener with Ives leading D.M.T. at 19. Mixed quartet and Mr Dunn traveled to Des Moines for the Iowa High School All State Music Festival, with rehearsals and a KRNT Theatre concert featuring 221 in the orchestra, 1000 in the chorus, and 265 in the band.
