Mrs Frank Ralle motored to Rolfe Monday with new parents Mr and Mrs John Hendricks who had visited over the weekend. Eugene Waters and family and Mr and Mrs FE R Waters visited Jack Haynes in Lohrville last week. Floyd Ferguson drove to Des Moines for Iowa State Fair events. Jarville Hawk of Des Moines visited with grandmother Irene Hawk. G A Hollenbeck and daughter Ethel Loving were in Laurens on Saturday. Dr J H Hovenden and Dr Ray Jackman of Laurens were callers in Henry Buck’s home Wednesday. Will Smith attended to business in Laurens Wednesday afternoon. Mrs Earl Sandy hosted a gathering Monday afternoon for her son Dean’s ninth birthday.

Knight family sales and business moves ripple through Kanawha and Laurens, with delayed health news, school notes, and Glances at fairs and community events in Havelock and surrounding towns.
The Havelock Consolidated Schools announce their 1134–35 opening date and plan for the upcoming school year. The district emphasizes readiness across faculties and student enrollment as the new term begins.
Havelock Methodist Church posts a Sunday schedule with Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m. Epworth League at 7:00 p.m. The week’s services and activities follow the above timetable unless otherwise announced. All are welcome to worship.
