Aug 26 1965 Local Social Notes and Recollections
Birthday gatherings and family visits mark a weekend in the Rolfe area with potluck at the Wiegert home and Old Threshers' Day at the Neil Miller farm near Williams. Fishing trips to Battle Lake, a Denver vacation, and a Hobo Day outing in Britt are also noted along with a vehicle accident and a local poker-style joke about gas coupons from prior decades.
