Wed Recently Mr and Mrs Douglas Kelly married June 27 at Assumption Catholic Church Canton Minn and now reside at 1716 5th St SW Rochester Minn Mrs Kelly formerly Rita Wax daughter of Fay Wax Rolfe and the late Mr Wax Groom's parents are Mr and Mrs Frank Kelly Sr of Canton The bride carried two association handkerchiefs one from Mrs G Fred Smith Rolfe hand made in England 1840 and another made by friend Marianne Harris with their names and date embroidered on it Soloist was Mrs Rick Cordes Marengo who sang Panis Angelicus and The Wedding Prayer Guests were seated by John Berryman Rockford IL and Darwin Halverson Rochester MN.

Town council met August 4 1970 with Mayor Pro Tem Olson presiding. Members Lof tus and Tool attended while Dunn and Lynch were absent. July minutes approved. Budget hearing held with no objections and budget adopted. Numerous bills paid across funds including Public Service Humboldt Trust & Law and utilities. Rolfe Town Council Holds August Meeting and Budget Hearing
Rolfe Iowa council met on August 4 with Mayor Pat Wood and six trustees present. Budget hearing led to adoption of the town budget and related authorizations. various bills were approved and filed. A revised gas main agreement with the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Co. was authorized. Council also approved tax compromise consent and shifted monthly meetings to the first Wednesday. Don Shoemaker named interim mayor.
