Only family members attend with a bridesmaid and best man present. The couple will reside in Fort Dodge after a brief honeymoon in Minnesota.

Norman Eugene Hawking a thirty year old Webster Groves man died at Marathon after a light coupe turned turtle on Primary No 10 three miles west of Marathon. He suffered a broken leg and a double fracture of the skull and died within ninety minutes. Hawking was believed asleep at the time of the crash. A letter found in his possession indicated he was employed by Lambert Pharmaceutical in St Louis. His father in Webster Grove was notified of his death.
D. W. Dayton twenty one of Nag age former Gilmore City drowned Tuesday in the Des Moines River at Des Moines when the wagon he rode with struck a log and overturned. He was a son of Mrs Lena Day of Gilmore City. Dayton had been employed in Des Moines for the past two years. He is survived by his mother and sister Mrs Maurice Townsend of Cement City Michigan. The body was brought to Humboldt today.
