Supt Gary Keplinger of the local School Food Authority announced income scales for free and reduced price lunches and free milk under the National School Lunch and Special Milk Programs. Scales set July 1 1976 through June 30 1977 specify family size and income limits for eligibility and notes premiums for reduced price lunches.
Margaret Halverson of Fort Dodge will direct Help Line Inc starting August 1 replacing James Hadar. The Rockwell City native moved from Concord California where she supervised barbiturate drug abuse programs. The service in Calhoun Hamilton Humboldt Pocahontas Wright and Webster counties is free and run by trained volunteers with professional counselors.
