D M T Livewires Hold Meeting and Elections

The D M T Livewires meeting opened at 8 00 p m with 12 members two visitors and one leader present. Rich Lehnus led as short course delegate with Don Cruickshank as alternate and Eddie Ward Gary Imhoff with Benny Leh nus as alternates for campare. Ads for the 4 H Club Fair book named Lee Diggs Rich Lehnus Ron Ives Gary Imhoff and Eddie Ward. A resignation of the assistant leader was accepted and a committee of Roger Ives Loel Diggs and Rich Lehnus was named to select a successor. Reports included crop rotation profits by Ron Ives and green manure crops by Rich Lehnus. The next meeting is May 10 at Pat and Gary Imhoff s. The Foppe department store a Rock Valley staple since 1882, closes after 73 years.

State Music Contest Results At Bode

On April 15 and 16 music contestants traveled to Bode for the State Music Contest. Ratings included Kathyrn Majorowicz and Joan Rutgers in multiple events, Gary Fisher and Richard Lehnus earning top marks.
