Grimstead and Davenport race battery test in California woods
Grimstead stranded with his daughter Burton and allies Gardner and Davenport discuss a radical battery idea. Davenport claims a nonchemical, static-to-kinetic battery could power a car with no wear, while Gardner bets on testing the device by heavy load over four days. The plot thickens as camp moves, Simmins stays, and the group debates the science and stakes.
