Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Waldron celebrated 45 years of marriage with a Sunday open house at their Pocahontas home. Attendees included Mrs. Ruth Waldron Johnson and Mrs. Fern Waldron Carlson, sisters of the honorees, plus Mrs. Alma Paul of Havelock and other relatives. The event featured a lace table, wedding cake, and bouquets of sweet peas, Easter lily, and jonquils.
