Honorary Chapter Farmer named at FFA banquet
At the annual FFA Parent and Son Banquet Russel Jordan was named and initiated as Honorary Chapter Farmer. Linda Helmke brought in the smallest egg while Minkler boys from Plover had the largest. a tie for most unusual egg involved Mrs Mike Schmidt and Ronnie Christensen at Webb's Drug Store on Egg Day. Fourteen four happy kids traded eggs for a nickel drink. Rolfe Firemen officers elected Johnnie Loss as fire chief Don Weishaar assistant chief and Russell Winkieblack secretary treasurer. Clara Gunderson returned to Denver after Easter vacation with Deane Gunderson home. A farm accident week left a man healing in a cast to be applied before return home.
